Shag Dancing
Shag is the popular dance in the Carolinas. Shag is similar to west coast swing but fox trot and swing is dance-able to much of the music. There are many, many places for shag dancing but the most popular are found on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach where the shag was “born”. Fat Harold's, Ducks, and Ducks Too to name a few. Check The Sun News Kicks! Magazine on Fridays for listings.
